Spec 2000 encompasses a basic system for trading partners to electronically exchange technical and business information related to the purchase and repair of aircraft and engine parts, and to query or update the ATA Aviation Marketplace. This exchange is accomplished using special software to transmit/receive data over the airline telecommunications networks, the Internet and physical media. Software programs to automate these transactions can be self-programmed by using the information in Spec 2000 E-business Specification for Materiels Management or can be purchased from commercial vendors. Commercial vendors selling Spec 2000 related products and services are listed below for your information and convenience and do not imply endorsement by the Air Transport Association (ATA). There may be other products and services relating to ATA Spec 2000 E-Business Specification for Materiels Management, which are not listed here.
