Overview
Spec 2000 Chapter 15 provides a recommended format for the electronic communication of Delivery Configuration data, including shipment date and in-flight times, from a supplier to a customer for all serialized parts (aircraft, engines, auxiliary power units, nacelles, landing gear, engine modules, etc.) The aircraft and engine OEM may integrate the required data and provide this to the customer. This specification may also be used for aircraft and/or engines purchased from other airlines or companies; however, in these circumstances the seller would provide the data.

Who Uses Delivery Configuration?
The Spec 2000 directory lists all known Spec 2000 users and their capabilities. Simply choose Delivery Configuration from the drop down box "Filter by Spec 2000 Automation Capabilities" to view the companies who use this functionality as part of their business processes.
