Needs Database This database stores "needs" messages posted by ATA Aviation Marketplace participants who are seeking a particular part that is not listed on the current Surplus or Procurement Databases. When the part does become available and is posted on these databases, the participant who posted the needs message is notified by e-mail. Likewise, parts distributors and brokers can utilize the needs database as a means of identifying potential customers for parts. The Needs Database is only accessible via the Web.
