Repair Database The Repair Database is used by airlines and repair agencies to advertise their repair capabilities, prices and turnaround times. A special feature of the database allows the listing company to protect sensitive pricing information from competitors. Customer airlines query the database by part number to select repair agencies that have the best possible price and turnaround time to fit their schedule. Viewing Rights procedures ensure that every repair agency has the option to grant or deny access to new and existing customers. This secures the agency's proprietary data from its competitors. A detailed description of the Repair Database functionality and file formats can be found in Chapter 8 of the Spec 2000 Main Document.
